Preparing for your Colonic Appointment
At least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment for your colonic session there are some guidelines to follow. Following these simple guidelines will allow for the best results with your session.
CHECK FIRST to see if you have any medical issues that may prevent you from having a colonic session.
IF YOU CAN'T follow the guidelines below, do not be put off from doing the colonic. Many people come in the day they call with no preparation and still have great results. It is better to have the colonic now (especially if you are bloated and uncomfortable) rather than putting it off.
DO eat as many fruits and vegetables as you can, in any form (raw, steamed, juiced, baked, etc.). Eat soups, salads, stir fry’s, oatmeal, yogurt, fish, brown rice, humus, salsa, avocados, nuts & seeds. Drink protein shakes, smoothies or fresh squeezed juices & plenty of water.
DO NOT drink sodas or any carbonated drinks. This will produce gas and gas can make your session uncomfortable. You can have iced tea, herbal tea or juices.
TRY TO AVOID meat, shellfish, cheese, fast food or any processed foods such as pizza.
If you are doing a cleanse with supplements this is the ideal time to get a colonic. The colonic session will easily eliminate the toxins and built up material that the cleanse has begun to dislodge.
TWO HOURS BEFORE your appointment stop drinking all liquids. You need to be able to remain on the colonic table for 40+ mins if your bladder is full while you are having your colonic this will cause you to want to urinate and your session may finish early.
